Hopefully soon!!!!

If anyone has been checking this... I'm sorry that it's taken me such a long time to post anything!! I'm going to try to get some scrapbooking done sometime soon.. hopefully! I miss it! But, just haven't had the time! If I can get my house organized this week, I can work on organizing my scrapbook stuff to make it easy for me to put in a few hours here and there... I have a big scrapbook project to do for a friend and I'm anxious to get started!!!

Zoo Pics

It has been a long time since I've scrapped and I was debating whether or not to do it today. But, I gave in, printed out some pictures, and grabbed a TLC kit. I LOVE IT! I'm hooked to these things now. If you ever think that you don't have time to scrapbook, you definatley do with these things! They give you everything! So much that I was able to make a layout for Rodney and Tatum using one kit! I better start selling these soon because if I don't I'll be spending too much money on them!
Anyways, these pictures were taken right before we left Virginia. We took a day trip up to the Richmond Zoo and had so much fun we decided to go again the next day to the Norfolk Zoo. We invited Lee and Carolyn and the kids along so that we could say 'goodbye'. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast!

Welcome to Guam Silly Girl

I decided to do a page with some newer pictures. I didn't follow any layout hoping that it would force me to get some inspiration. My contrast choices weren't so good but... I still think its a cute page. Maybe its the pictures that make it cute? The layout didn't take too long which was nice. I was back and forth all night with whether or not I wanted to scrapbook but, I figured that I should because I dont know when I'm going to get another chance. These pictures were taken the first week on the island. Hence the title.... Ok, hope you likes!!

Git R Done

I HATE these pages! I feel like I have lost all inspiration and creativity. Maybe its because I feel so overwhelmed with all the different scrapbooks I have to catch up on that I feel like in in "hurry up and get it done" mode. I had NO ideas for these two pages last night. I searched my stickers about a hundred times. All of my quotes, my letters, everything... But, they are done. Its seems like I'm so dissapointed with Tatums album. I LOVE Rodney Jr.s first year album, maybe I should start copying those pages for Tatums album. I have come to discover that doing a page that is a 'moment' or a day is much easier than doing a page because you have to catch up and 'Git R Done'.

Merry Christmas Tatum 2005

Everything that could have gone wrong tonight.. did! Overall I like this layout. But boy, it was tough getting it done! Seems like it would have been a quick and easy one, but, my mistake, I decided to cut out a few snowflakes. Since I couldn't remember how to do it the elementary school way by folding the paper, I drew them out and cut them with the tiniest pair of scissors EVER! It took more time cutting those snowflakes out than the whole page did! Then, it always seems that whenever I want to use a marker, no matter what brand or what color, it always dies by the third letter. Never fails! So, "Merry Christmas" is looking a little weak but, I'll leave it alone for now and hope that I can find the same set of markers here on the island. Back to the "Merry Christmas", after it was all said and done, I realized that I probably should have wrote "Baby's First Christmas", but too late! Then, I wanted to type out the quote because I HATE my handwriting and I think it looks SOOOOO much better to print them out BUT, I ran out of one color of ink in my printer and so it wont let me print out anything! So, I had to write it out!
I thought that I was completly prepared for this page but, of course not. And do you want to know why? Its because Rodney Jr.'s night light is broke so, he is sleeping with his door open and my craft closet is about two feet away from his door. Great! I managed to run up the stairs and into the closet about 50 times without waking him up which I have to say is amazing!
I hope you enjoy this page, one more month out of the way for Tatums first year!

For Momma!

I am starting this blog for my mom and my sister who actively scrapbook back home. We love to scrapbook together whenever we can but, since I am half a world away, I decided to post my scrapbook pages so that I can feel like I'm staying connected and sharing it with them. Miss ya guys!
I feel that these pages are missing something. I have to say, after organizing all of my things, it was so easy to get the pages done. I put the kids to bed at 8 and by 10 I am finished and all cleaned up! That doesn't normally happen! Anyways, I am very far behind on Tatums scrapbook. These are her pages for her third month. Which was in December of '05. Yes, I have more than just three months of her scrapbook done but, not much more!! Sorry the pictures aren't that clear. I used Rodneys camera and shot them in the dark! But, you get the idea...
Now that I'm looking at it from this view, the crooked paper strips are bothering me!! haha
